I recently purchased this cat feeder to help my cat develop a more regular feeding schedule and make sure he gets fed throughout the day, even when I'm not home or on vacation. It's been reliable so far and feeds food at the set times without any issues. As long as it's plugged in and filled with food, it works perfectly without failure.
The video camera also works great, providing clear live video even at night. Provides the option to watch live on demand, or view recordings of past movements. The app is easy to install and use, I was able to set up the bluetooth connection to the feeder in less than 10 minutes.
We bought this because we are planning to go away for a few days. We have 2 cats and wanted a way to dispense snacks to them while also being able to see and check in on them. Like other reviews mentioned, the right side
dispenses more food than the left side. Since we are only using this for snacks 3x a day it wasn't an issue. We bought another automatic feeder for their regular meals and it dispenses evenly but no camera.
This feeder was easy to assemble and set up through the app. After a few days the cats already knew the feeding schedule and they would sit by the feeder when it was almost snack time. The video quality is good and it allows you to see the tops of the cats heads as they eat. My only complaint is the speaker is very loud (and there is no volume control) so I have to speak softly. The first time I spoke to the cats through the microphone I scared them and they ran away! Other than that, I'm extremely happy with the purchase.

With its HD camera and customizable settings, I can check in on my kitty's meals from anywhere. Setup was a breeze, and now I can relax knowing she's fed and happy, even when I'm away. Also, it accurately provides the meals timely. It's a game-changer for any cat parent!
I like watching them eat.
I had bought a treat launcher with interactive camera for my two cats but the wifi was bad. I returned that product and bought this two-cat automated feeder. It immediately connected with excellent signal strength and goes into black and white mode during low-light levels so I can still see the room.
Two bowl feature was an excellent idea and you can select how much you feed them as well as listen and speak. Phone app was easy to work with.
